Lawrence A. Golding Student Health Fitness Scholarship

This scholarship publicly recognizes and honors undergraduate students who have made  significant outstanding contributions to their communities in health, fitness and/or education.

Applicants should be exceptional leaders and students in their school and/or community. Students in their sophomore through senior year are encouraged to apply and must meet specific requirements.

Are there ways for students to save on registration fees?

Yes! In addition to the already discounted registration fees, be sure to register early. Additionally, there are group registration discounts with five or more people in a group. Contact the ACSM Meetings Department for more information.

Students also have an additional savings opportunity by through the student volunteer program. Student volunteers receive half off registration fees – reimbursed after the conference – for completing a total of four units. Learn more.

What is the student volunteer program?

ACSM offers students the opportunity to get involved, support the event and reduce their registration fees through the student volunteer program. By completing a total of four units – one, four -unit slot or two, two-unit slots. ACSM depends on volunteers to help with important aspects of the conference. This includes the registration area, student help desk, logistics and more. Learn more.

What is the room share network?

In an effort to help attendees with their hotel costs, ACSM will be compiling a list of those who are interested in room sharing.  Please indicate your interest when registering.  If you are already registered, please contact the meetings department to be placed on the list.  A list will be forwarded to you in mid-February for potential roommates for you to contact.
