From recovery nutrition to bone health to lactose intolerance to hydration, this educational session will provide sports dietitian recommended tips and strategies for optimizing your own and/or to recommend for your clients’ training, fueling and recovery routines.   Additionally, this workshop aims to answer tough questions you may have or get from your clients regarding dairy foods and beverages. Questions like: Should I be concerned about hormones in milk? Does dairy cause inflammation? Or why is chocolate milk considered a close-to-perfect post-workout recovery beverage?

Chelsea Burkart, a professional sports dietitian will provide an overview of the latest sports nutrition guidelines and learnings from her firsthand experience followed by National Dairy Council (NDC) registered dietitian/nutritionist Allison Parker, who will lead an interactive Q&A session with attendees addressing common dairy myths and misperceptions.
