Len Kravitz

Len Kravitz, PhD, CSCS is the program coordinator of exercise science and a researcher at the University of New Mexico where he received the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award. In addition to being a 2016 inductee into the National Fitness Hall of Fame, Dr. Kravitz was awarded the 2006 Fitness Educator of the Year by the American Council on Exercise and the Lifetime Achievement Award from canfitpro.

 

Tony Nuñez

Tony Nuñez, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in Exercise Science in the Human Performance and Sport department at Metropolitan State University of Denver. He teaches courses such as exercise physiology, resistance training techniques and fitness programming for special populations. Tony’s research interests include exercise programming for metabolic improvements, conditioning for disease prevention and sport specific programming. He enjoys outdoor activities, team sports and traveling.

 

 

OVERVIEW

Based on a recent scientific review by Drs. Len Kravitz and Tony Nunez, all delegates will initially be guided through a multi-media journey on the physiology of anaerobic conditioning, explaining the unique responses and adaptations to various circuit training protocols. The all attendees will then learn 8 original HIIT-Circuit, Cluster-HIIT-Circuit and Peripheral Heart Action circuit training programs, and learn the evidence-based research why they work so effectively. Brad Roy

 

Brad A. Roy, Ph.D., FACSM, FACHE, FMFA is an administrator/executive director at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He is responsible for The Summit Medical Fitness Center, a 114,800 sq ft medical fitness center located in Kalispell, Montana and a number of other hospital departments. He is the editor for the Medical Fitness Association’s Standards and Guidelines for Medical Fitness Center Facilities, past board chairman for the Medical Fitness Association and current member of the ACSM CCRB CES committee. Dr. Roy also serves as an associated editor for the ACSM Health and Fitness Journal.

 

 

Pete Ronai

 

Peter “Pete” Ronai, M.S., FACSM, RCEP, CSCS-D is a clinical associate professor of exercise science in the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield Connecticut. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), an associate editor of the American College of Sports Medicine’s Health & Fitness Journal, and a member of the ACSM’s Health & Fitness Summit & Exposition program committee.

 

 

 

 

Kyle Kercher

 

 

 

Kyle Kercher earned his bachelor’s degree from Montana State University – Northern while competing in football as a wide receiver and kicker. Kyle then graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a 4.0 and his Masters in Exercise Science with a focus in Sport Psychology. Kyle currently leads a program called Competitive Edge at The Summit Medical Fitness Center in Kalispell, Montana which consists of adult barbell training, a Youth Training Academy, a performance lab, in-house and remote athletic training services and general fitness. He also owns Athletic Edge Sports Consulting which provides strategies for success and mental skills training to high school and collegiate athletes. Kyle and his wife Vanessa got married in 2016. She is a motivational scientist and researcher at The Summit Medical Fitness Center.
